Located in Tathra, the Tathra Hotel & Motel offers direct beachfront access with breathtaking sea views. Spacious rooms feature balconies, private bathrooms, air-conditioning, and free WiFi, as well as tea and coffee makers, refrigerators, and soundproofing. The on-site restaurant serves seafood, Australian, local, and European cuisines, while the bar features live music and evening entertainment.

The location was fantastic. There were no bedside tables, and when I arrived the room smelled strongly of bleach; I had to open the balcony door to clear it. The décor was very plain.

Everything! It’s my absolute favourite place to stay and never disappoints. Whales from the balcony, too notch food, well sound proofed rooms. Very comfortable. Staff lovely!

The views were great, the on‑site restaurant was good, and the bed was comfortable. There was no place to put chairs on the balcony.

The staff were warm and welcoming. We tried the weekly special for dinner (Chicken Mole) and it was incredibly tasty. The bacon and egg roll for breakfast might be the best I’ve ever had—so fresh and cooked to perfection. The view was amazing; we could watch whales from our balcony. The rooms were spotless. Parking was easy. I have no complaints about the staff, accommodation, food, or location. We’ll return early next year and can’t wait to bring our friends from the UK.
