“Très beau mais isolé”
A small paradise just a 1‑hour scooter ride from El Nido’s center. The rooms were very pretty, spacious and clean with air‑conditioning. Breakfast was delicious, especially their homemade crepes! Direct beach access was a plus, and we were the only guests in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The downside was the hotel’s isolation: a 1‑hour scooter trip to El Nido plus a 1 km rocky road that felt risky to reach the hotel. No shops or restaurants nearby unless you rent a scooter. During our two weekdays we couldn’t use the pool because it seemed everyone in the area had appointments there—birthdays, picnics, sing‑alongs, over thirty people on Sunday—so the peaceful, relaxing pool experience we had imagined was ruined. That was the real drawback. We also found it disappointing that a 10 % service charge was applied to the hotel restaurant even though we were customers. It was the first time that had happened to us.
