The reception was very cold and dismissive, saying the room wasn't ready and that we had to book a walk‑in before us; they mentioned we were eating lunch in the hotel, but all other staff were efficient and super friendly. The reception staff also pointed out a €10 car parking charge that hadn’t been mentioned before.

The noise from upstairs kept me up all night, and the crack in the bathroom floor of room 229 could easily cut your feet.

The location was great for the university, Ulster Museum, and botanical gardens, situated on a quiet leafy road. The place was clean, beautifully designed, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom.

Our stay was short, but the room and bathroom were lovely and the check‑in staff were very helpful. The pillows were very large and uncomfortable, and the food I ordered at the bar was only okay—warm but not hot, which was a bit disappointing.

The room was nice, big, very clean, and tidy, but the price of nearly €200 for one night seemed like a lot of money.
