The room was comfortable, the off‑road reserved parking was convenient, and the continental‑style breakfast was reasonable. One issue was that noise from other rooms travelled through the property; I had to ask the occupant of the adjacent room to lower their voices at 11.00pm, even though they weren’t speaking loudly.

The room was comfortable enough—though the bed was a bit soft for my husband—and very clean, albeit a little dated. The facilities were great for what we paid, and while we didn’t see the staff in person, the kitchen area stayed very tidy. If you’re looking for cheap, cheerful, and simple accommodation, this is the place. The staff were helpful via text. It’s a good base for exploring the area: about 50 minutes from the Llanberis path for the mountain trails and train, 20 minutes to Port Meirion and Betws‑y‑Coed. The walls are a little thin, which made for some “interesting” nighttime noise; earplugs are recommended. There isn’t much to do nearby, so you’ll need a plan and be willing to drive out for food and other activities.

“Left tired and hungry”

They advertised a room with a view, but the single window was floor level. The walls were very thin, so we were woken before 7am on a Sunday by the next‑door room taking a shower, and people leaving early kept us from sleeping. I can’t have dairy, so I asked for a milk substitute; breakfast started at 8am as stated, but there wasn’t enough oat milk for me to have anything but coffee, leaving me with no breakfast other than dry toast or a boiled egg.

Everything was fine; the only thing I noticed was that no staff were around in case I needed to make a contact. Overall, I was satisfied with the service.
