“Le paradis de Malindi”
Paradise on Earth… or at least in Malindi. With its ideal location and charming cottage, the rustic style is appealing. Special shout‑out to the staff who are very welcoming, and the hotel’s eco‑friendly aspect. The road to get to the hotel is a bit rough, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.
The place was lovely, staff super friendly and the vibe relaxed. Sunbeds sprawled out near the beach, food was great. The water was brown when we arrived, but once we went out on the dhow it was clear and nice. Some evenings the waiters seemed a bit rushed to close up.

The secluded spot had beautiful beaches, and the houses we stayed in were fabulous and rustic. Food was very good, lovely, freshly cooked. The peace and silence were amazing, listening to the ocean waves. Hotel dogs were great, nice to see them around. The beach curio shop was good and we had fun buying nice stuff we really didn’t need! Looking was free but great people ran the stalls. We loved the afternoon tea in proper mugs! The salt water shower was a shock, but we were told about it; fresh water was available to rinse off with.
Leaving was a disappointment, nothing else to add.
