The location is fantastic – main sights are just outside the front door! If you have a balcony room you’ll get a fabulous view. The area is safe, quiet, pedestrianised and offers many restaurant options, with good transport links and a tram stop minutes away. The best bakery in Istanbul is a few minutes walk! You can easily reach the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Hagia Sophia at opening time. Bathrooms need updating and there’s noise from next‑door rooms.

In the heart of the historic city, personal security for guests, surrounding areas, hammam, and taxis are available. The long years of early morning stress on the terrace with a beautiful view – unfortunately it’s no longer there – and the second negative of the entire Sultanahmed quarter is terrible traffic.

The location is excellent, and from our balcony we could see both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The room itself was small.

The location is convenient, within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and nearby shopping areas, but the property is not accessible by taxi, so guests have to carry their luggage about 800 m to reach the hotel. We booked a triple room and specifically selected a room with one twin bed, one full‑size bed, and a city view. However, upon arrival we were told that this type of room did not exist and that all city‑view rooms had only one bed. We had paid an additional $200 for three nights specifically for the city view. Instead of offering a reasonable solution or apologizing for the discrepancy, the staff rudely told us that we were welcome to find another hotel if we were not satisfied. They made no effort to resolve the issue or accommodate our booking. We also contacted the company, but unfortunately, they did not provide any meaningful assistance. Since our reservation was prepaid, we ultimately had no practical choice but to stay at the hotel. Overall, while the location is good, the way our reservation was handled and the lack of professionalism from the staff made this a very disappointing experience.
