“Heel fijn, lieve gastheer en -vrouw en eitjes van eigen kweek!”

We were greeted warmly by the host, who even gave us six free organic eggs from his own chickens, and parking was right on the premises. The accommodation feels spacious, with its own little terrace off the garden, and it welcomes dogs—our pet even got treats. A washing machine with detergent, a dryer, and an outdoor clothesline were all available, making it roomy for two people and suitable for a small family. However, the two scorching days made the cottage uncomfortably warm, forcing us to open the windows and let in a swarm of flies and mosquitoes, something a simple screen could have prevented, and the curtains let a lot of light through.

“It is an great place to stay at with an friendly host.”

It’s a great place to stay, quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The host is very friendly and helpful when needed. We were greeted with fresh eggs for breakfast. We stayed for three nights and had everything we needed; there was nothing wrong with the apartment or the host.

“Prima verblijf gehad”

The apartment was bright and roomy enough for three, and the beds were comfortable; the owner also left us a whole box of eggs, which made for tasty scrambled eggs. On the downside, the shower and tap were a bit faulty and could use replacement, though we managed to get a shower in anyway.

The location is good, but there’s a strong chicken smell, which makes sense since it’s in the countryside. The hosts are very friendly. It’s a small holiday apartment with everything you need. The bedside lamps don’t have switches, which is a bit odd. With an outside temperature of 35°, the room was very hot for sleeping.
