The location is excellent and the architecture is nice, but there was only hot water and the air conditioning was pretty loud.

“Cheap off season with Frontier theme”

I got a cheap off‑season room with A/C; the place was empty and had a vintage 1950s decor. My upgraded balcony room included a fridge, microwave, etc., and there was an activity guide with local spots and Sky art locations. However, the boardwalk/balcony “rustic” feature meant 50+ year old splintering railroad ties that required shoes, the “mountain view” was just through shrubs and RV parking, and the spots for charging electronics were not great.

“Like a deserted theme park ride!”

We had access to a pool and the craziness of being in a place that looked like a deserted theme park ride; we communicated via email to collect our keys from a locker. When we arrived the whole place was deserted, the opening hours closed at 4, the room was simple, pretty clean but tired looking, the air con was SO loud, there was no water left in the fridge, and nothing was open for us to buy anything. No food, not even a vending machine, so I didn’t realize we would need to arrive fully prepared without any refreshments.
