Close to the mall and eating spots, but the pool was small, the snack and drink options were limited, and breakfast was sparse.

The location was ideal—facing Gurnee Mills, exactly what we wanted—and the room was spacious, but the reception wasn’t very warm and the bathroom tiles were unstable, almost dangerous to walk on barefoot.

The place is cheap and right next to a bunch of eateries, and the bed and sofa were both super comfy. The shower in the bathroom is smooth, making it really slick, and the water pressure is absurdly high—almost like a hose blast. The toilet seat felt uncomfortable, and the fan couldn't handle the steam, leaving the countertop wet. The pool sits in the lobby, so the chlorine smell hits you immediately, and the hallway and elevator often have standing water.
