Timber Lodge Inn

“Stayed as a stopover for our roadtrip so did exectly what we needed”

The spot was decent, the staff went above and beyond, the room did the job, and the overall value was acceptable, but the decor feels old‑fashioned and the whole property would benefit from a fresh makeover.

“Nice lady at the front, but noisy and hard mattress made the stay very uncomfortable.”

The place was available, but helicopters, trains, and horns made it noisy; the mattress was hard, the shower faucet required a lot of effort to turn on, and the door was hard to lock—plus the building is very old.

“Only stayed because it was the only one that wasn't $300+ per night, won't be back.”

The hotel was available, yet breakfast only offered oatmeal and toast, the bed felt like a rock, the door lock was broken, the fridge still held old food from a previous guest, the front desk staff were unfriendly, and they told us we weren’t actually allowed to stay because we’re considered “locals” living 40 minutes away.

“Smelly, bad shower and expensive.”

The location was good and the AC worked, but the room immediately smelled like urine and old smoke, the shower didn’t drain and also had a terrible odor, and at $220/night the price was outrageous for what we got.

The place was clean and the staff were friendly, but the bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on; as a business owner, you need to invest in your beds if you want repeat guests.
