The venue feels authentic and the welcome is warm. You can stroll through the primary forest thanks to the accommodation’s trails. It’s a lovely walk, and the breakfast is excellent—highly recommended!

The place is right on the edge of town and the views are killer—just look out the window. Everything else was fine, no complaints. I’d definitely come back for that scenery.

We stopped for one night at Iyok Ami while heading from the Pacific to the Caribbean and it was a solid recommendation. Getting there was a breeze, parking was easy, rooms were spotless, and the common areas—little fireplace room, big lounge with foosball, ping‑pong, and plenty of seats—made us feel right at home. The trails start right outside, well‑marked, winding through misty forest and along streams, with a yellow path that offers a breathtaking panorama.
