Quiet. However, on Sunday mornings at six the church bells rang.

The breakfast was great, especially the savory options; I might add some pastries for those who prefer sweet. The lounge with a view of the countryside is lovely. I think the property is pretty cute and was recently renovated, but the restaurant kitchen was closed, which I saw as a downside. I always pick hotels with a restaurant because when traveling for work I don’t always want to leave and hunt for a place to eat, and they didn’t let us know about the closure.
