Casona Plaza Balsa Inn

This hotel was clean and in a great location for a short stay, which is about all you can say for it. It's not the Ritz, but it's still okay if you're just looking for a place to crash for a night or two.

We had a great stay at this hotel, thanks to its excellent location and helpful staff. They let us store our bags when we arrived early, and the room was massive for three people, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was also top-notch, with pancakes and fresh fruit. It was a great base for our trip, and we would definitely stay here again.

“The Balsa Inn was changed to Plaza Hotel (sister Hotel) - Casona Plaza Hotel was alright”

We were initially booked into the Plaza Inn, but due to some issues, we were transferred to the Casona Plaza Hotel, which was apparently a 4-star sister hotel. While it was a decent place, it didn't quite live up to its billing in my opinion. The breakfast was a highlight, with a good selection of options, and the area was fantastic, but the room itself was a bit basic and not what I'd expect from a 4-star hotel.

This hotel was perfectly located in the heart of the city, with showers that worked like a charm and staff who were knowledgeable and professional. The room was warm and comfortable, making it a great place to rest after a long day of exploring.

“Ok”

The staff at this hotel were absolute stars - they went above and beyond to help me out, even sending me some items I'd left behind. The breakfast was also a highlight, although it was missing a few things I'd have liked to see. The location is top-notch, but the room itself had a few issues, like being right next to the stairs and getting a lot of morning light.
