“Beautiful and would stay again”

The historic building’s charm was obvious – the rooms were clean, the privacy solid and the contact‑free check‑in made everything hassle‑free. We were upgraded to an even nicer wing, but the bathroom was in a separate outbuilding, so stepping out into the freezing night to use it was a real wake‑up call (I wish I’d known to bring warm boots).

If you’re looking to escape the hustle, this little spot delivers total calm – the surrounding area is dead quiet and the room matches that vibe. Breakfast was simple but covered the basics, and Karen was friendly yet gave us plenty of space to unwind, which felt just right. The dark bedroom was exactly my kind of cozy, though the shower dribbles a bit slower than I’d like; still, it’s a minor quibble compared to the overall peace. Definitely recommend and hope to come back.
