The room was beautiful, super luxurious, and equipped with all comforts! Nothing to complain about.

Everything! No complaints, maybe just the location—it’s very quiet in Midden Eierland.
A very nice B&B in a beautiful spot, everything was tidy and well organized. Every morning a tasty breakfast was delivered right at the door, and any questions could be answered quickly. The electric bike made island travel easy; we rented it in advance and had it delivered to the B&B, which was also very convenient.
Breakfasts were fantastic, and the slufterhoeve is in a great location.
I was left with a room that wasn’t even listed on the website, a back room with no field view that had to be cleaned. The owner switched rooms the day before we arrived, and when we got there at 15:15 she only answered after two or three calls, saying the room we’d booked was given to other guests. We waited until 16:35 for a cleaned room that was very dark, hot, and had no airflow; a mobile A/C was brought but there was no nearby outlet. The closet was tiny, no hangers or towel space, and there were no reading lights by the bed. She never apologized for the change, the delay, or the inconvenience. We had booked a 4‑night stay, but the suffocating room forced us to leave, cancel our bike rental and restaurant reservation, and head back to Amsterdam. We got a full refund, but the vacation was ruined and we lost a whole day of travel.
