“Not my favorite”

The location was good, but the customer service was terrible, there was no designated check‑in area, and the price was very high. The room had no coffee or tea, was very cold, and the shower was filthy with mold and mildew. Having stayed at many historic inns, this place clearly needs work if it wants to charge close to $400 a night.

“The room was very comfortable and I loved sitting on the porch looking out at the ferry dock.”

I loved the location, but renters should know there’s no elevator service between floors. The bathroom is very small and cramped. The hotel had a lot of character but lacked things I like, such as a TV area, and a supply of games like cards or Uno would have helped.

“Not worth the money spent”

The hospitality was great and the food was okay in a nice old building just a rock’s throw from the ferry terminal, but it was overpriced—$250.00 per night for a 180 sf room, and the bathroom is across the hall.

“comfortable, pleasant, quiet. affordable.”

The location was spot on, close to where we caught our ferry. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There were no other restaurants nearby. The kitchen didn’t open for breakfast at 7:30 am as I’d hoped, and the dinner menu didn’t offer many choices; the price was standard. The café service was excellent, with staff who were very polite and helpful.

The bed and bedding were comfortable. The café was a plus. The historic building had a decent room size. However, there was no coffee or tea in the room, and after hours I couldn’t get hot water for bedtime herbal tea. I’m a senior and didn’t realize my room was on the third floor, which made it a bit of a challenge since there was no elevator.
