Ąžuolynas hotel overlooks the Curonian Lagoon in Juodkrantė, Curonian Spit. It features a restaurant, outdoor and indoor pools, and spa facilities with a sauna, steam bath, and hot tub. Guests can enjoy billiards, miniature golf, and a pizzeria. A 1.6 km walkway leads to the Baltic Sea. Free parking is available; Klaipėda is 20 km and Nida 30 km away.

There was no soap for washing hands, and the hotel felt somewhat neglected; the breakfast was weak but sufficient, and because of staff shortages you had to wait a long time for dishes to be replenished.

The breakfast was bad, the rooms were old, and there was no furniture in the room.

The location is right in the city centre, just a short walk to the sea, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was terrible – boiled buckwheat and pasta were served, which surprised me, and the orange juice tasted like plain water with an undefined flavor. Arriving ten minutes after breakfast started left no options to choose from.
