The location was great and the decor cozy, but there were cigarette burns on some of the bedding—disappointing given the room’s initial clean, welcoming, and cozy look, and we only noticed them when getting into bed because they were on the fitted sheet.

The toilet in the bathroom was full of poo, with dirt and grime everywhere; hair and dirt littered the floor, the place smelled of weed and wasn’t clean at all. Paying £120 a night for this is unreasonable, and I was afraid to stay overnight.

The proximity to the beach and town centre was great, but the property felt very dated, the room wasn’t large enough for three people, and there was nowhere to store clothes or suitcases. The shower wasn’t very clean, had no hooks, and the door was loose; everything attached to the wall was shaky and kept falling off. On our last day the smell of cannabis from other rooms was unbearable.

The location was good and the bedding was clean and comfortable, but the owner was very nice while the place is all very tiered, needs double glazing because traffic starts around 6 am and you can’t sleep, and there are no blackout blinds to block the sun.

The location is perfect, the place is nice and tidy—ideal for a family stay.
