Forest Cabin in the woods

“Heerlijk. Ik zou het graag nog een keer doen.”

I walked in the dark from Holten, a bit tense but not because of the park. My key was ready in a nice box. I was hesitant to step into a secluded, cold house at night, yet it wasn’t remote, it offered plenty of privacy, the lights were on, there was festive lighting on the veranda, and the temperature was just right. The bed was wonderful, and for me alone the size was perfect—cozy. (With two people it was the same.) The only drawback was the way the shower head was fixed to the wall, making it hard to aim the spray.

The location of the cabin, the late check‑out, and the option to use the fire pit with wood were all great. Initially there wasn’t much wood, but when I asked the reception for more, they gave it with great friendliness.

“Lijkt mooier dan het is op de foto’s en je wordt aan je lot overgelaten”

Nice setting in the woods and a cozy weekend getaway with my sister. The road to the car was noisy, there was no reception on Sunday, which was really annoying. You feel a bit left to your own devices; the new cabin was already quite shabby and not clean.

“Top!”

Very friendly welcome! The staff are always kind, and the cabin is cozy and fully equipped. Even though you can hear the highway from outside, the cabin is so well insulated that you hear nothing. Nothing else. The check‑out time could have been a little later; we would have enjoyed it a bit longer.
