“Perfect staging point for cruise from Southampton”

The location, staff, food and drinks were all great for an overnight stay before heading to Southampton for a cruise, but the car charger didn’t work.

Everything was wonderful – the food, the room, and the staff – my husband and I absolutely loved our stay there, highly recommend! Leaving was the only downside.

“absolute gem this place -warm welcome, gorgeous room & fantastic breakfast”

The property is gorgeous, the staff lovely, breakfast excellent, top class – I’d highly recommend it and would stay again, only wish we had stayed longer than our short flight visit. The only note: you’re above a pub, so there’s noise during pub hours; if you join in it’s fine, but if you need an early night it’s not ideal. Otherwise it’s a fabulous place.

“Clean comfortable value for money room and pub to stay in.”

The room was spotless and cozy, and the large bathroom was a highlight. The furnishings were well made, and breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant food was good. The only downside was the loud pipe system noise whenever a tap or shower was turned on in our room or in other bedrooms; it was loud enough to wake someone up, but otherwise everything else was fine.
