The spot was spot‑on, right where I wanted to be, and the staff were super polite. I didn’t find anything that bothered me.

“Muito fraca, me decepcionei”

Breakfast was a letdown—no jam, few choices, and the fridge in the room had no water. The place is a bit out of the city center, and the room’s amenities were lacking: tiny towels, non‑foaming soap, a disposable shower cap, and no fridge items.

“Estar em Caxambu é sempre uma alegria”

The staff were great and helped me with everything; it’s close to the Catholic Church and a short walk to Park das Águas. But there was no hair dryer, the city was cold so my hair stayed wet, ants were in the room and bathroom, and there was no towel rack near the shower or a place to hang towels after use. All rooms are on the upper floor and you have to climb stairs—my 88‑year‑old mom couldn’t make it, so that’s a real issue.

The reception was super attentive when we arrived, and the room was clean. The breakfast was excellent, but the location is a bit of a downside because there’s no parking.
