The cabin is located in a slightly remote spot, creating a quiet oasis. The hosts were very welcoming and left a pleasant impression. I recommend it for those who enjoy hiking.

“Exceptional and breathtaking”

We stayed here and it was amazing. Alex, the host, was super friendly and easy to chat with, always making sure we felt comfortable and even set up a gorgeous fireplace that made the night unforgettable. The hot tub was fantastic, especially with the surrounding scenery and views. The cabin was spotless, tidy, and clearly well maintained, and the vistas were truly breathtaking. Alex clearly cares about his guests and wants them to have a great experience, so we felt welcome from the moment we arrived and would gladly return. Highly recommended.

“A great place to stay while crossing Transalpina, very nice.”

We arrived at night during a fierce storm, and the owner told us we were the only ones there and that it was okay if the electricity went out—if that isn’t the perfect Transylvanian experience, I don’t know what is. The house is pretty, located in the mountains right outside Transalpina, making it a great stop before or after heading there. The owner was helpful and nice. However, the electricity kept flickering during the storm, and some parts of the place seemed like they might break soon, as if built by a less reliable crew or with poor materials. That’s why I’d recommend visiting before it deteriorates. It’s a bit pricey, and while the place itself is nice, the room was rather small.

Everything is good. Clean. There’s a kitchen with everything you need to cook. There’s a barbecue. Quiet and calm.
