Le Logis de Lasteyrie, a 19th‑century manor in La Rochebeaucourt‑et‑Argentine, blends historic charm with modern comfort. Its private garden, terrace, and heated pool offer panoramic views of the Dordogne valley. Family rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, tea/coffee makers, and free toiletries. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, bicycle parking, and on‑site parking, while nearby Château de la Rochebeaucourt and Bergerac Airport provide easy access.

Breakfast was hearty with fresh coffee (or tea) served in individual pots, a nice fruit salad, yogurts, and pastries. The rooms were spotless and the park around the castle was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a kettle for tea, a wide selection of teas, and fresh biscuits. At night the hotel is very quiet because it is on a private, gated estate. The owners are well‑informed, speak fluent English and French, are excellent conversationalists, and very attentive. The only thing they can’t control is that in winter nights it can be hard to find the main road exit, as there is no street lighting and the road up the small hill to the estate is a bit narrow; you need to go slowly because deer may cross at night.

The gite we stayed in was fabulous, with plenty of space, a very comfortable bed, and a superb bathroom. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Definitely stay in this gite again and highly recommend it. There was nothing we didn’t like; it was perfect.

A very pretty place and very quiet, ideal for nature lovers. The owners were very warm and welcoming, and breakfast was generous.
