“Kurzaufenthalt im Mehrbettzimmer Bikepacking”

I stayed in a hostel shared room with very comfortable beds, the linens were surprisingly good—often missing in hostels—and the room had good lighting and a small bathroom; unfortunately the water drainage in both the shower and sink was not perfect. The hostel seemed to be a former inn, and it didn’t feel like it was still operating as such; if you want to eat there, you’re limited to vending machines, so for breakfast I recommend the excellent bakery in the same building, which I also used. The location is good, with all sights and the city center within a few minutes. Overall, the general circulation area, bike parking, reception, and outdoor area gave a somewhat untidy, not very inviting impression, even though the room and bathroom (integrated in the room) were spotless.

In the basement there was a large kitchen and dining area where you could prepare something tasty, and next to it was a very good toilet, better than the one in the room. I understand that people might be delayed after a trip, but if you check in between 17:00 and 21:00, it’s unpleasant when the whole room is sleeping and you’re woken around midnight while the receptionist is checking in another guest.

“A place for short visits”

You can leave your luggage for free after checkout, but the pillows were really flat and uncomfortable, the bed was ordinary, and the location wasn’t ideal if you have many bags.

I found the price really good for that period, and I was lucky with my roommates in the room. A coffee machine in the breakfast area would have been nice.

The room was quiet, the manager was great, and they put the girls in the same room; getting around nearby attractions was easy. Each room had its own bathroom, the place was clean, and they even gave us towels – highly recommended, especially in low season. The roommates I met were also nice, the value for money was excellent, beyond expectations.
