The spot is spot-on for getting to QUT, shops, the CBD and Mt Cootha, plus public transport is a hop away. The kitchen set‑up is solid, the price is fair, and the owner keeps in touch and is super helpful. The place itself is spotless and well‑furnished. Only hiccups were the smoke alarm going off twice on the first night and a possum crashing the roof on the last night – annoying, but not deal‑breakers and actually a funny story to tell.

Clean, tidy, and fully stocked – better than any hostel I've stayed in. My boyfriend and I spent two nights here and had no issues at all. We appreciated having a spot that was not only spotless but also equipped to whip up decent meals.
