Hotel Artus - Old Town

Although the bells keep ringing constantly, the hotel felt super! The room was comfortable, the facilities very clean, the staff attentive and friendly, the location premium, and the hotel breakfast good and complete. I didn’t like hearing the pigeons at the bathroom window, and the water didn’t come out well in the shower’s alcove.

“Perfekt zur Erkundung der Stadt!”

The location is great: within walking distance to the old town, tram line 5 from the main station right outside the hotel door. From the upper floors you get a fantastic view over the whole city! After my online booking I received an email offering a paid upgrade for the old‑town view… but it was much easier and cheaper: just ask at reception for a room as high as possible, “if possible” with an old‑town view. It worked! Thanks! The late summer air conditioning is no longer needed, but if you open the window you can hear the tram, landing planes, and unfortunately at night also loud motorcycles until midnight.
