The place was charming, furnished with mid‑century pieces. The rooms were comfortable, cool, and the breakfast was delicious. We used the pool several times and the friendly host looked after us well.

The only thing worth mentioning is the location. There was no hot water, the bedsheets were overpriced, and they weren't properly washed.

I spent a recent night at the Lakeside Inn in Tissamaharama, and overall it was a great stay. The staff were warm and friendly, making the whole experience welcoming. Rooms were spotless and comfy, and service was top‑class. The food hit the spot, especially the caramel pudding, which I loved. Prices were very reasonable, offering solid value. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean and well kept. I honestly couldn’t find anything to complain about.
