“Non varcate quella porta”
I can’t believe they even got a license to operate; it’s an insult. I had to scramble for emergency accommodation because Livorno apparently offers everything except a place to sleep. The room’s window is just 1 m from a traffic light at a busy intersection, so if you enjoy noise, smog, and scorching heat, this is your spot. The only “luxury” is a cracked fan. The bathroom is shared, like in ancient Rome, and the only perk is a single sink with a trickle of water visible in the corner of the room behind broken furniture. I won’t dwell on the bed to avoid sounding harsh; after my 80s teenage escapades, I never imagined reliving those moments. Bring a tent and sleep on the beach instead, or at least breathe some fresh air.
