The hotel staff were extremely courteous. The building shows its age, so things like the bath mat are darkened, which might not suit someone who is very particular about cleanliness.

“Convenient location, fantastic staff and ensuites available”

Location is convenient for Kaifu station and 2 local restaurants makes it’s possible for OHenro / pilgrims to stay 2 nights and head towards Muroto where there is less accommodation then head back via bus etc Staff fantastic - Tetsu san could not do more to make me comfortable (early check-in, dinner options and confirming bus timetables etc) Room had en-suite. No convenience store really close by

Tatsu‑san is a solid host; I brought a couple of requests and he fixed them right away. The place feels nice with good vibes, and every room includes a private Japanese toilet, which is handy.
