“True gem in Colombo”
Everything is spot on.
The area is quiet with plenty of greenery, letting you escape the bustle of Colombo. It takes about 10–15 minutes by tuk‑tuk or car from the city centre. The owner’s taste is superb, with carefully chosen furniture and paintings in the lobby and rooms, and the amenities are well curated. I was very satisfied with the staff’s service and the breakfast. During our two‑night stay, the breakfast menu and fresh‑juice options varied, and we could even request how our eggs were cooked. If I ever go to Colombo again, I’ll definitely stay here, and I’d like to try Anugaa by the River, run by the same owner.
“Amazing lovely place and lovely staff”
This was an amazing place to stay; we loved it, it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful, even letting us leave our bags there for a late flight. It was the best sleep we had all holiday. The only issue was that you have to knock to get in; you can’t just let yourself in and out of the building.
