The air‑conditioning was excellent, though it was hard to control the room's coolness. The furniture and furnishings were old, the room phone did not work, the fridge did not cool, and there was no dim lighting in the rooms.

The hotel was better than others. Some rooms emitted a smell from the water supply to the room.
