“Just a little less than adequate”

The overall experience was very poor; I didn’t even eat there. The staircase was dirty, and I didn’t know it was under renovation. The bathroom was in terrible condition.

“Love the location close to everythin”

I didn’t use the breakfast bar. The shower ran out of hot water quickly, and there was no mini‑fridge in the room.

“We will never stay here again!”

Location. Toilet was turned off. Had to get someone in there to turn it on. It ran all day and night to the point it kept us awake. The room was non-smoking but yet the bed had a burn mark on it and the room had a very strong cigarette smell and made us completely sick to our stomachs. We asked about it and all they said was that the room was non-smoking. Apparently the people next door were chain smokers and it was going through our walls. Everything we took with us had to be washed and aired out when we returned home. My husbands c-pap machine was ruined from the smoke smell

I liked how close the hotel is to Mt. Airy and that the room was affordable, plus there was a coffee maker inside. We didn’t try the breakfast. The exterior could use a good cleaning—spray down the sidewalks, building, and stairs with a hose or pressure washer to remove webs and trash. The rooms were fine, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked, and the curtains had a fading spot.

The front‑desk crew were quick, friendly, and welcoming, and the gentleman at check‑in took the time to ask me the legal questions about my service animal. However, my room carried a persistent weed smell, the bathroom looked dingy with old stained grout, the hot‑water knob on the shower/tub was broken off and just hanging on the sink, and the AC only worked a little at times.
