The spot is gorgeous, with a fantastic view and easy access to the main attractions, so getting around was a breeze. However, the décor felt a bit over‑the‑top, almost like a theme‑park vibe that didn’t quite match the rest of the place.

The hotel’s location was spot‑on and the view from the balcony was superb, plus breakfast was tasty and varied. Unfortunately, the moment we opened the door the room reeked of what seemed like sewage, and despite asking, staff never fixed it or offered a different room.
