The room was very comfortable, with lovely wood and tile décor. It included a kitchen area, a living room with tatami mats, and a large family bath—ideal for those walking the Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage Trail. Delicious yakitori is available about a ten‑minute walk away. The self‑check‑in was a bit confusing at first, but the host responded quickly and even came down from the café he runs to make sure everything was fine.

The stay was inexpensive, and the bath had a Jacuzzi. However, the instructions were insufficient. Depending on the room, the one I stayed in was separated from the shared room of a neighboring guest by a sliding door, so the noise and light were bothersome.
