There was a mouse in the room eating something under the dresser, I couldn’t sleep, and there were cockroaches crawling on the wall.

“Filthy. Never again.”

I thought the price was a bargain, but the room was a nightmare: dirty socks hanging in the shower, toilet paper stuck to the walls, see‑through linens, a non‑smoking room still smelling of smoke, and people loitering outside staring at us without saying a word. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable, and we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep, otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed.

Getting to the place was easy, but the room wasn’t ready when I checked in, and there was garbage everywhere outside. The hallways and the parking driveway were riddled with huge potholes, and the whole area smelled awful.
