I was uneasy about checking in. The door wouldn’t open unless I called, even though there was a button that didn’t work because the staff was absent. With only one person on duty, there was no backup. Neither the number on the door nor the one listed on the booking site answered.

The proximity to the city center and the cleanliness of the room were great, but don’t rely on the outside to get in. Finding the entrance is tough if you’re unfamiliar, and the breakfast isn’t reliable, though there are plenty of cheap places nearby for lunch.

I’ve tried very hard, but I haven’t been this disappointed in a long time. The room was okay, but the entire staff seemed like a joke. Breakfast was included, but the bars were funny and the juices in the fridge were half‑drunk. The phone staff called me five times asking me to leave money for the tourist tax.
