I couldn't find a parking spot, but I was able to use a free lot nearby during the summer season. The ski lodge is old, yet the interior has been refreshed, so the outdated equipment doesn't bother me. The location is great. Check‑in is listed as 7 pm, but apparently any time works. I tried calling ahead because I would be late, but the line was unreachable; I still made it to the hotel and was able to check in normally. They told me the information on the booking site was wrong and asked me to correct it, and they also requested that a reachable phone number be listed.

“value”

A cute little hostel that offers great value, especially during the off‑season. The convenience store is close by, and a supermarket is a one‑kilometre walk away. It features a mini onsen and a small kitchen, though the plates and appliances are a bit minimal. I could stash my touring bike in the storage room.

離越後湯澤車站很近，可以搭接駁車到雪場。滑雪季末人不多，可以泡湯很舒適。廚房有提供茶包跟熱水。

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the station and the ski‑slope shuttle stop, right on the hot‑spring street—super convenient. The beds and space are tidy, and the hot springs are available. The dry‑room space is a bit small, but overall it’s quite comfortable for a long stay.
