The café area was very good. The bedding was low quality with many stains, the blanket seemed not to be changed for each new guest, and the Wi‑Fi did not work very well.

It’s close to Miyagi Coast and not too far from the busy area. The soundproofing is not very good.

“Nice within budget.”

The place sits in a convenient spot and the vibe is friendly. I ended up chatting with other travelers on the night‑time balcony, which was the highlight of my visit. The bunk beds are spacious and the room feels roomy. Staff members were warm and pleasant, and the café food was excellent—something I really enjoyed. The owner also seemed kind. On the downside, men’s rooms only had one toilet, and the washlet was broken and had been that way for a while; the photo on the site suggested it worked. The corridor fan was dusty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months, which was tough for my dust allergy.

“social enough, not for a light sleeper”

The location is decent, close to a supermarket and within walking distance of the American Village, and there are plenty of street parking spots. The hostel can get social at times, and the tiny kitchen and fridge are useful. The outdoor terrace is pleasant. The room’s AC was freezing, and the staff decided when dorm lights turned on and off—sometimes at 11 pm, sometimes near midnight, but always at 7 am with music, which made it impossible for a light sleeper to get proper rest. There’s no communal space besides the terrace, just a small damp room with a few chairs and tables. Wi‑Fi keeps dropping. The dorm is narrow, making it hard to store a bag, and the area under the beds could use a sweep. It’s a nice hostel, but the lighting issues lower the score.

The café and restaurant are very nice with amazing food. Beds are quite comfortable and the rooms were very well air‑conditioned.
