“Tolle Unterkunft und fantastische Gastgeberin!”

Denise’s reception was fantastic, and the neighbourhood where the accommodation is located alone makes for a walk (or two or three); you can walk to the old town in 15 minutes and also get a great view of Bern. The accommodation itself was fantastic and absolutely nothing is missing! One of the few genuine “BnB” experiences I’ve had in years of booking over the years! I would book again immediately.

This is an excellent value for the price if you don’t mind sharing a bathroom with another room. Denise, the host, is very responsive, helpful and thoughtful of the guests’ comfort. I stayed four nights with peace of mind.

Two double rooms in one apartment, note that these are rented out separately. It’s a shared apartment, not just a shared bathroom. We rented here thinking we’d be alone only to find out we were sharing the apartment. If you know this and are ok with it, it is a very nice place to stay. Overall very nice apartment in a quiet area only a short bus ride away from the town centre. This is a shared apartment. The listing states clearly “shared bathroom”. There are pictures of two bedrooms but we figured it was a good price so we rented the whole apartment. Little did we know that the two rooms in the apartment are rented out separately at the same time, so we stumbled upon another guest living in the same apartment which we thought we’d have to ourselves. The other guests were very nice but we were expecting something different so it was a bit of a let‑down. When we tried to cancel the host insisted we should’ve been able to figure out by evidence of the pictures that the whole space was shared and wouldn’t refund the stay if we’d cancelled. We thought this was very inflexible. We even went back to check the listing in case we’d missed something, but we still felt the same.

Everything was simply wonderful! We spent one night here and felt very comfortable from the start. The accommodation was clean, cozy and everything was perfect. We especially want to highlight the warmth and friendliness of the host family. Everyone was incredibly nice, helpful and attentive. You really feel welcomed and at home. ❤️ Thank you for the lovely time! We would come back anytime and recommend the accommodation absolutely.
