Hawks Nest Motel, situated 50 metres from the Myall River on Port Stephens' northern shore, offers an outdoor pool, covered barbecue area, and free Wi-Fi. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, DVD players, microwaves, refrigerators, and tea and coffee makers. Most rooms have private balconies. The motel is close to Bennetts Beach, Jimmy's Beach, and Hawks Nest Golf Club, with Nelson Bay a 1-hour drive away.

The staff were friendly, the apartment was clean and fresh, the bed and linens were comfortable, and the kitchen had good facilities and equipment, plus crockery. The view included water and the pool. Nothing else to add—everything was great.
