The layout featured a number of two‑room bungalows surrounded by lush landscaping, making it a true boutique hotel, and the pool/bar/restaurant was nice. Bringing luggage to the room was tough because it was uphill and stairs; halfway through we learned the staff would do it for you. They did their job, but could have been more personable.

The pool area was the perfect spot to chill, but the room had zero noise protection. Staying during carnival made it impossible to sleep, and we could hear neighbors coming and going and walking up and down the stairs. The outdoor areas definitely need some TLC. I didn’t like that they let day visitors take over the entire pool; they were loud, obnoxious, and didn’t shower.
