They offered smoker and non‑smoker rooms. I booked a non‑smoker room, yet it still smelled of smoke—note: no breakfast on the weekend, though Booking advertised it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, which included fresh blueberries and blackberries on the first morning, but the conditioner was missing.

Even though the reception was closed, we managed self‑check‑in and got the keys without any trouble. We weren’t sure where to park because several nearby accommodations made the lot hard to identify, and the parking area wasn’t clearly marked. We booked four rooms that were supposed to have balconies, but two arrived without one. With the warm weather the rooms got very hot and couldn’t be aired out, as there was no air‑conditioning (we knew that beforehand) and not even a fan to help. In particular, room 16 smelled damp and stale in the bathroom, while the other rooms didn’t have that issue.

Both front‑desk ladies were very kind and helpful. The Hungarian lady was a treat; she served us breakfast. The breakfast was incredibly abundant and premium. The beds could have been more comfortable for couples.

Everything was fine, except the connecting beds for a couple weren’t very comfortable.
