Hotel Strudlhof Vienna

The location is fantastic, the rooms are spacious, and the Schuberttheater is just around the corner – a real hidden gem.

“War ein super Hotel hat total abgebaut”

The location was fine, the rooms were okay but with some cleanliness issues. The breakfast was nothing but a joke; at the buffet there was almost nothing, everything had to be complained about. Just below every criticism.

The location was very good – a quiet part of the city, yet reachable by tram and well connected. Breakfast was great, even offering plant‑based milk, peanut butter, warm vegetables, freshly baked bread, hummus, olives, fresh bell peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes for a nice plant‑based breakfast. It was a real shame that the AC didn’t work throughout our stay, during the peak summer heat, with no solution beyond one fan per room. We asked the staff, and they said they didn’t have enough fans to give us more. It could have been fine if the rooms had good ventilation, but they didn’t. If not for that, our stay would have been wonderful.

The hotel’s location and room size were good. The breakfast buffet was unprofessional, with no labels on the spreads, a single coffee machine for everyone, long queues, and staff only became active when asked. Cleaning was only done on request and then only superficial, with no toilet paper refilled, the glass table and sink not cleaned, etc.
