Nothing positive. Everything was terrible. We were made to sign a paper saying the room was non‑smoking, we are non‑smokers and chose non‑smoking, yet the common area in front of our room was full of smokers who left their trash on the tables… The cigarette smell filled the room. The music was far too loud. The sheets were torn and dirty; fortunately we had clean sheets in our bag. The room was tiny and dark. At 6 am someone knocked on the door to give us breakfast, no one consulted us. It was an industrial breakfast—disgusting. The bathroom was dirty. Frankly, it was far too expensive for the service. On the island of Bali we could have had a clean, bright, spacious room with a pool and sea access for less. What shocked us most was the filth; it even smelled like cat urine in places. We stayed only one night because we had paid before checking the room, our mistake, otherwise we would have left earlier.
