The location on the Saale is great, but the train is hard to reach and only runs every two hours on weekends.

“Freundliches, preiswertes Hotel für Urlaub und Wochenende”

A friendly, budget‑friendly place for a holiday or weekend by the quiet stretch of the Franconian Saale. The restaurant is open for limited hours but serves good food, even for vegetarians. The staff are helpful, though the restaurant can get a bit hectic. The breakfast is excellent and has a regional touch. It’s a nice base for hiking, cycling and paddle‑boating. There’s a large meadow to relax on the riverbank in front of the building, and there are plenty of parking spaces.

“Aus meiner Sicht optimaler Aufenthalt, jederzeit wieder gerne!”

Quiet location, friendly reception, competent staff. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Very good and plentiful food and drink options. The only downside was that I had to search with a magnifying glass for the menu, which I didn’t have.
