The place is wonderful, with beautiful surrounding vegetation. Quiet and calm. The villa was exactly what we imagined when looking for a separate villa in Ubud. Very authentic – completely wooden. The staff respond quickly to any questions. Breakfast is decent. You can order lunch and dinner from the menu. You can also book a massage, a bike or a car. There were a lot of insects, too many! In the evening it was impossible to turn on the lights, they crawled into every crack, it was a disaster. If it weren’t for the villa staff we wouldn’t have known what to do. There were also issues with running water. They told us it was temporary, due to pipe repairs on the street.

I liked almost everything. The place is peaceful, clean, and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are kind. The water sometimes stops for about 3 minutes and takes around 2 minutes to come back. There's a small hole between the door and the frame, which is not ideal since it's in the jungle. Breakfast could be better

“Affordable Tranquility”

This place brought me back to a Bali before excessive development and tourism. A lovely wooden villa with a huge netted comfy bed, large bathroom, small kitchenette, balcony and infinity plunge‑pool, looking into the rainforest, dotted with a few bananas and fruit trees, from a lush private garden. Breakfast is provided and brought to you at a time that you request, and other meals can be ordered too. The staff/owner are friendly and helpful – just a quick WhatsApp message away – and also offer transfers or transport which we used and recommend. The local countryside is peaceful and, as yet, undeveloped – still rice paddies and local farms. The nearest village is in the old Balinese style and very friendly if you wander through. The narrow road doesn't have much traffic, so you can walk through the countryside or to the relatively nearby waterfall or little eating places a kilometer or so away. Also a great cooking school just a short walk up the road. Lots of places to see if you have transport or simply enjoy the tranquility. I would highly recommend for those who want to 'escape'. The only suggestion is to leave a massage table on the premises if you want to get their masseuse in, rather than using the bed.
