Carrick Rooms

The building and position weren't very impressive, yet the interior quality was excellent with all fittings working properly and the owners were very helpful, leaving me overall pleased with the accommodation; the front door looked a bit scruffy.

“Central, comfortable, clean, welcoming, and spacious.”

Everything was great, and Nick and his parents went above and beyond for us, making them brilliant people in a brilliant place, though we had to leave.

“Very friendly and helpful owners. Good quality continental breakfast.”

Breakfast food was high quality, the owner was friendly and gave us excellent information about local sights, and the tea and coffee provision in the rooms was very good; however, the room bins could have been emptied daily, and daily biscuit replacement, bottled drinking water, and fresh milk instead of UHT would have been nice.

“Great, modern option in Port St Mary”

The room was really nice with good views and a comfortable bed, Nick responded quickly, Ian was super nice—meeting me at check‑in and giving me plenty of tips—and the morning coffee was good; the town is cute with several nearby restaurants and nice coastal walks, and I liked everything!

“Exceptional stay”

It’s a lovely place with a very comfortable, modern bed, and I would strongly recommend staying here; the owner’s communication was excellent.
