Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was perfect—delicious beyond words. ===REVIEW 4<|message|>The owner is incredibly kind, the accommodation is very clean and had the most stable power in the Valkistan area, and I received a lot of help with things I didn’t know; I highly recommend this place. ===REVIEW 5<|message|>A well‑kept, brand‑new hotel with a spacious, tidy room, a comfortable bed, and a large shower; the staff were helpful and courteous. ===REVIEW 6<|message|>We spent four weeks at Cortijo Lagar de Luisa, run by two very helpful and friendly hosts; the garden and pool are well maintained, with comfortable lounge chairs under a parasol by the pool, the cottage was clean and fully equipped, the bed was comfortable and the newly installed shower was a welcome refresh after a hot day, and they even tried to accommodate our week‑long extension, though it turned out we didn’t need it. From Lagar de Luisa you can set off on beautiful hikes of varying lengths, and our Casa 2 had a private garden—perfect for a dog. The only downside is that the nearest larger supermarket is a half‑hour drive away, though small local shops exist in El Borge and Almáchar. ===REVIEW 7<|message|>The location right off the highway is great for travelers who need just one night’s rest before an early departure, but the bathroom’s toilet area has no door, which felt quite awkward; the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, we were given only a tiny blanket after asking for something to cover the bed, and at 5 am loud music and shouting erupted from the neighboring room. The complimentary breakfast from Gênios was a lukewarm coffee and milk with toast, ham and cheese, which I didn’t enjoy because everything was a bit cold. ===REVIEW 8<|message|>The receptionist was friendly, which was the only bright spot, and breakfast was passable, but that didn’t make up for the problems: a beer garden with terrible music sat under my window, there was a water pitcher but no bottle opener, a kettle but no coffee, the bedside lamp’s bulb was burnt out, two of the four windows wouldn’t close, the safe was loose in the wardrobe and unusable, the TV didn’t work, and the room was filthy—as the photos show.
