The room was clean and nice and the location was great, yet even with earplugs the noise from students persisted until 5 am, leaving me with only a few hours of sleep, which isn’t ideal for business travelers.

Stay away from this hotel!!! The rooms sit directly above a club that plays very loud music at night!!! There was no mention of this when I booked. When we checked in, instead of the usual chocolate we found a packet of earplugs on the pillow. At first we laughed at the gesture, but from 10:00 PM sharp until 2:00 AM our ears and insides were battered by extremely loud bass rhythms pounding every half‑second. Complaints to the hotel’s young manager didn’t really yield any results. We are considering filing a complaint with consumer protection authorities.

The room was big and the spot was great. It was tidy and comfy. The entrance felt a bit plain, tucked in an alley near the bins, but that didn’t bother me. The bar was shut while I was there, so I can’t say how loud it would be. They handed out earplugs, though I didn’t use them.

The woman who answered the phone was lovely and immediately reassuring when I called to check in. She picked up within a second and helped straight away. My only gripe was that the booking gave me a code and the lady sent me a separate message with a different code, so I tried the wrong one to enter the building. After I called, she was very helpful and sent another message with all the correct details. Don’t fault the staff for the mix‑up; it’s probably a glitch between the booking site I used and the hotel. Overall the system worked fast and I felt secure because each door had its own code.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was clean. The entrance near the bins isn’t great. The first door lock was stiff, the second lock felt awkward. I passed the key safes and had to go back downstairs to find them.
