“Отель не плохой на 1 день. Но жить там неделю не оч.”
I arrived in room 2 on the second night and wanted to shower, but the hot water never came on after waiting 5–8 minutes; the heating was set to a warm mode but only cold air blew.

The location, cleanliness in the room, and friendly staff were all excellent.

I had a single room that was quiet and cozy, with no noise, and the breakfasts were tasty.

The room was clean, or so it seemed. When arriving, there was no taxi sign, and we couldn’t get past the boom gate because no one opened it, so we had to drive around and enter from the side. With huge suitcases, no one could open the door, and there was a gap at the threshold that made it hard to lift the wheels. Reception said the elevator was broken and told us to carry our luggage upstairs. When I asked how to lift a 30‑kg suitcase, they replied, “What, you can’t?” Later, I went to the room, decided to wash up, but there was no hot water. I went to eat, returned, and instead of water, brown sludge flowed from the pipes all evening and into the morning. Before leaving, I filled a bottle with cold and hot water for comparison—photos attached. Ignoring the water and elevator issues, the view from the window was a steel structure.

The Alau hotel left a generally pleasant impression. Even though the room was a bit dated, it felt cozy enough. The bed was comfortable, the blackout curtains were effective, and the soundproofing was excellent, which mattered a lot. The room had a TV, kettle, hair dryer, and tea set. A balcony was included, and the air‑conditioning could be adjusted. All hygiene items were present, towels were refreshed daily, and each day a bottle of water and tea sachets were added. The staff were attentive and answered any questions quickly. Rooms were cleaned every day. Special thanks for the tasty breakfasts – a wide variety of dishes and drinks. I didn’t catch the name of the female chef, but she was incredibly welcoming and professional! There weren’t any major drawbacks. Perhaps the hotel hasn’t had a major renovation, so the room stock is somewhat old, but everything is functional. The price is noticeable – not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either.
